What a fantastic time we all had at The Garden Gallery in Sydney’s Botanic Gardens last month. It’s such a beautiful space to hold an exhibition, with abundant natural light and lovely lush greenery out each window. The people we dealt with at the gallery could not have been nicer, more helpful or more professional from start to finish – thank you to them all, but in particular Luana and Issi, for making everything run so smoothly and helping make it all a complete joy!
Along the way we tried to keep a record of how our visitors had heard about the show, and where they had travelled from. If they wanted, they could also leave a comment. My favourite quote from that collection: ‘Absorbing, occasionally brilliant!’
And what a gorgeous time of year it was to be heading into the Botanic Gardens - the jacaranda trees along the North Shore train line are always beautiful in November, and the one outside my home has grown to be equally as striking over the years. But it was the blanket of jacaranda blue it left on the front lawn that stopped me in my tracks as I was heading out one morning to go to the Garden Gallery.
Now that those wonderful couple of weeks are over, however, the countdown for Christmas is on! If you’re looking for a unique gift, I hope you’ll come along to any of the shows listed below, or contact me directly and line up a time to come and see what I have available here in my studio.
